Headed to Hong Kong!

It’s Colin’s (my cousin’s) 100th day birthday on the 9th of June!

I’ll be flying into Hong Kong on Tuesday 8th and seeing him for the first time since his birth into the world! It’s funny to have a cousin that is outside your generation age range. I guess it means that there will be many people for him to look up to and also many people there to take care of him as he grows.

Being the eldest cousin of this side of the family gives me a strange feeling that lingers at the back of my mind whenever I head into Hong Kong and China. I just hope I can steer my cousins in a good direction should they ever get lost.

Colin will be the first boy born with my mother’s surname. This makes my grandfather on my mother’s side a very proud man! Little Colin doesn’t realise how much excitement he is causing! hahaha!
